Call of Duty 4 map pack not delayed, update on Game of the Year Editions - Image 1Heads up Call of Duty 4 players! According to Robert Bowling, the announcement regarding the map pack being pushed back to April 10 was a rumor. The map packs are set to be released on-time, either on April 3 or 4.

Call of Duty 4 map pack not delayed, update on Game of the Year Editions - Image 1Great news to those waiting for the release of the map packs for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)! Robert Bowling wrote in his blog that the maps are not delayed, contrary to the information that it’s been pushed back to April 10.

As of this writing, the certification of the packs are already set for an on-time launch for April 3 or 4. That’s today or tomorrow. There’s a high probability that it could be released later tonight (save for Japan) or early Friday morning. As soon as they are up, you guys can use the tokens to get your hands on the map packs.

Along with this update, Bowling said that he’s currently putting in effort so that the correct release date would reflect in the system which will allow those who purchased the Game of the Year Editions to get their respective codes for the tokens.

Now you guys a breathe a sigh of relief. It’s just a matter of hours before you can enjoy the four new maps for the FPS game. We’ll keep you guys posted for more updates.
