Call of Duty: World at War conquers European Market week on Nov. 22
By the end of last week, November 22, Call of Duty: World at War (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS) found itself still at the pinnacle of UK‘s Top 40 Entertainment Sorfware sales on Chart-Track. Other notables for that week are Need for Speed: Undercover which debuted at a respectable fourth place and Wrath of the Lich King eating a 32-place crit and dropping to 34th.
War is Hell Profitable.
At least, videogame wars are. By the end of last week, November 22, Call of Duty: World at War (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS) found itself at still at the pinnacle of UK‘s Top 40 Entertainment Sorfware sales on Chart-Track.
Unable to shake loose the World War II shooter was FIFA ’09, who, despite a renewed surge in sales (presumably because of the holidays), had to settle on the number two spot.
Some new releases making an impression on the list were EA’s Need for Speed: Undercover debuting in fourth, Eidio’s Tomb Raider: Underworld taking ninth, and Valve’s Left 4 Dead in fifteenth.
Casualties for that week include Gears of War 2, dropping ten spots to 14th, Fallout 3 falling nine places to 23rd and Wold of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, taking a nasty 32 rank plunge down to 34th place. I suppose this is unsurprising since most WoW players worth their salt have had their copies since release.
Here are the top ten:
- Call of Duty: World at War
- FIFA ‘09
- Mario Kart Wii
- Need for Speed: Undercover
- Wii Fit
- Dr. KawashimaÂ’s Brain Training
- Football Manager 2009
- Pro Evolution Soccer 2009
- Tomb Raider: Underworld
- Wii Play
