Camelot Roundtable: on white dye and shrooms

darkageofcamelotStraight from the Camelot Herald, we have more info on what was discussed during the roundtable event for the RPG The Dark Age of Camelot, such as classes that the minotaur can belong to, whether putting a shroom on a window is an exploit, reporting bugs, effective ways of losing mob agro, and what exactly is up with the white dye.

On the whole Minotaur deal: The interview answered the question as to which classes the Minotaur can fall under: For Albion, Merc, Arms, Heretic, Mauler; Midgard: Warrior, Berserker, Thane, Mauler ; Hibernia: Hero, Blademaster, Warden, Mauler. More info will be put up soon, along with the fan-winning video that everyone’s been looking forward to seeing.

Is putting a shroom on a window an exploit?: It seems that there are a lot of gray areas regarding this matter because the Q&A answered this question as both a yes and a no. Yes, it’s an exploit, because it takes advantage of a flaw in the game development where you find yourself in a combat situation with a powerful and “unkillable” enemy who can fry and kill you within seconds.

And no, because “you should not appeal every animist you meet as an exploiter.” This flaw in the game makes it hard for certain classes to steer clear of bad spots, and hits the non-cheating animists the hardest. The interview goes on to discuss more stuff about Hibernia, the white dye, how to lose mob agro, and tons of other things that were talked about in the Vegas Roundtable. Interested?
