Can’T Stop DS v0.2
Are you in the mood for a homebrew game from the country that gave us Freedom Fries? Oh, wait, Freedom Fries (the potato snack formerly known as French Fries) is an American invention. But this homebrew DS game is 100% Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir – whatever that means its the only French we know.
Nameless’ first homebrew game for the DS is based on a rather known parlour game: Can’T Stop. We’ve never heard of it so it must be a French parlour game.
Can’T Stop DS v0.2 has the following features:
- Added screen of presentation, titrates and small (Don’t look at us! Voulez vous couher, remember?)
- Added scrolling of the clouds
- Added title and game play music
- Fixed bug on return tokens
Plus some other stuff that didn’t translate well.
How to play:
- With each turn, you choose two pairs of dice from the four available ones.
- The sum of each pair enables you to either place a bonze (Bhuddist monk) on the corresponding way, or to advance a bonze already present.
- At the end of each turn, you can choose to stop. Your position is then safeguarded by your tokens, which will just allow you move ahead with your next turn.
- If none the pairs corresponds to a bonze already in place or that all the ways are blocked), you lose a turn.
- The first to reach the top of the Himalayas mountain wins.
Oh, just tinker with it. We’re sure you’ll get this game in no time.
