Capcom goes all piratey with Plunder for XBLA, PSN, PC

Here’s some good news for all those pirate fans out there! Capcom has announced that it will be releasing Certain Affinity‘s Plunder for the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and PC. Best of all, it’s slated for release this summer, so you won’t have to wait very long to get it. More on the game after the jump!

Capcom announced that it would be releasing Certain Affinity‘s pirate-themed Action-RTS Plunder for the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and PC. For those who missed our previous coverage of Plunder, it’s a downloadable, real-time strategy game that places you at the helm of your very own pirate ship in search of booty!

According to Capcom’s press release, Plunder enables up to four players to connect to a single console, or eight players to play together via LAN or Internet connection. Players can also go through their grand battles on 25 pre-made multiplayer maps or, if they so choose, make their own maps for battle!

Plunder will engross players with its intuitive online multiplayer gameplay, captivating replayablity, and a planned price point that will be lower than most MMO’s monthly dues.”
