We’ve got a bit of disappointing news for all the armchair hunters out there: Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G‘s Japanese release date has just been pushed back. Instead of a March 13 release, the game will instead be launched on March 27, a full two weeks later.
This is all according to a press release that Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G developer Capcom recently sent around. The company didn’t give any specific reasons for the release, but the delay could just be because of some general polishing and final touches.
Of course, this also means that the Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G PSP bundle has also been delayed accordingly. No word yet on the Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G party that Capcom announced for February, but if it pushes through, chances are we’ll get more info on the delay then.
