Capcom sends out the creeps: email leads to mysterious new Resident Evil 5 site

An email from Capcom has been making its rounds, and we’d have to say it definitely beats out the d*** enlarger spam we’ve been getting around here. Check out what the email says and where it leads you to after the jump. Let’s just say it points you to where it all began for Resident Evil 5 (PS3 and Xbox 360).

An email from Capcom has been making its rounds, and we’d have to say it definitely beats out the d*** enlarger spam we’ve been getting around here. This is what the email says:

It came from Kijuju. It came from Kijuju. It came from Kijuju. www.residentevil.com/kijuju It came from Kijuju. It came from Kijuju. It came from Kijuju. It came from Kijuju. It came from…

Well, you get the point. That was all there was to it. Clicking on the discreet link inserted in between all the “It came from Kijuju” texts brought us to a  new site, which then led to the the village of Kijuju. If you still haven’t caught on yet, that’s the African village where Resident Evil 5 (PS3 and Xbox 360) is set.

A lit candle guides you through the page, acting as a cursor as well for your mouse. You will then see the many scrawls on the wall (or blackboard, perhaps), from the repetetive “Kijuju” to “Sheva knew” or “They are in Kijuju”.
