Yesterday Capcom announced that they were bringing Street Fighter IV to Apple handhelds. The announcement begs the question: what about the PSP? Apparently the company thinks that’s also a possibility.

Capcom Japan’s Natsuki Shiozawa recently expressed interest in churning out a version of the fighting game for the Sony handheld in a Q&A blog post on the official Capcom website. The development team, currently in the thick of polishing Super Street Fighter IV for the PS3 and Xbox 360, is reportedly interested in the idea as well.
If memory serves, the last Street Fighter game that appeared on the PSP was Alpha 3 MAX. A new entry would definitely be most welcome.
