Carbon launches on PS5, PS4 first 2025

Welcome to the enchantingly distorted world of Carbon, where every modification adds a new level of technique and chaos. Every weapon is a cloth. Now, we’re thrilled to tumble into our FPS Roguelike’s weapons modification program – a feature as unexpected and exciting as the game itself. In Sulfur, weapon customization is n’t only about tweaking stats – it’s about creating your own combat experience. Our system is designed to let you test with a wide range of alterations, including relationships, special artifacts, changing the caliber of guns, and a remarkable assortment of oils. Each option has a significant impact on how your weapon performs and how it fits into your playstyle. Expect to experience the motion on PS5 and PS4 in early 2025.
Let’s begin with relationships. Without having to unlock special casinos, these can be added to any weapons at any time. There are several main types of parts:
Scopes: Enhance weaponry and increase long-range targeting, finally providing perfection in your shots.
Blockers: Lower the spread of your photographs, helping you maintain reliability during quick fire.
Barrel Extensions: Barrel extension and maintain flinch, making your weapon more secure during sustained fireplace.
In addition to these there is a Gun Crank, making any weapons semi-automatic, and red-dot-sights providing detail yet when aiming from the shoulder. Each connection modifies your gun’s stats, such as disperse, recoil, and vital opportunity, allowing for a more personal combat experience.
As your arms gain knowledge and higher ranks, they can add more slots for charms and oils. These changes provide deeper flexibility, letting you tailor your army to match your unique playstyle.
Enchantment scrolls add chemical effects to your weapons, such as fireplace or ice, or other special enchantments making your bullets violent, or into flying rockets, making each shot more powerful and dynamic.
Oils have a plethora of advantages and disadvantages, from enhanced destruction to altered fire rates. You can try different oils to find the ideal mix based on your needs with the 180+ available.
There are a lot of moving parts and manipulatable variables in the weapon modification system used by Sulfur, making up the staggering 35 million probable configurations. This is n’t just about adding attachments, it’s about completely re-chiseling your firearms into different calibers, such as 9mm, 12Ga, 5.56, 7.62,.50 BMG. Each ability transfer transforms your vehicle’s efficiency, and by adding hydrocarbons and enchantments you’re provided an almost unlimited plethora of military weapons!
The” 35 million” combinations, which we are aware of, sound like a parabolic amount and not all of them may make sense, but it shows how much flexibility is possible in Sulphur! With a large variety of weapons, combined with all the accessories, charms, and weapons oils, the possibilities are almost endless. Let’s take a look at a few standout weapons straight from the developers to give you an idea of how these modifications can transform your arsenal!

Weapon Spotlight: P38 Dirk, re-chiseled to.50BMG
P38 Dirk: This trusty starter-gun holds more potential than most people think. In this case my colleague upgraded it to Rank 3 and re-chiseled to fire .50 BMG rounds, which combined with a few kickback-reducing modifications reveals one of it’s hidden potentials!
Ready Oil: Decreases both kick power and rounds-per-minute, ensuring more manageable recoil and slower but more deliberate firing.
Modern Technology Oil: This oil reduces the chance of each shot consuming an additional bullet for better control while adding 10 % more. It strikes a balance between less recoil and slightly higher ammo consumption.
Less Recoil Oil: Further minimizes recoil, allowing for smoother and more stable shooting. Each shot feels more controlled with the Modern Technology Oil because of how well this oil interacts with each other.
6″ Barrel Extension: Adds extra length to the barrel, reducing recoil, which improves control and stability during firing.
Sniper Scope: Improves crit-chance of the. While it does n’t affect aiming precision, especially with a strong recoil, it boosts your chances of delivering high-damage hits.
With these modifications, the P38 Dirk becomes a powerful, long-range sidearm capable of delivering precise, high-damage critical hits. Its better firepower and control make it a valuable asset in any high-stakes combat situation.

Weapon Spotlight: Drifter 9 – Enchanted to an explosive cannon
When ranked up, oiled and enchanted, even the Drifter 9 becomes a formidable submachine gun with a lot for potential:
Infuses your bullets with powerful elemental effects, making them explode upon impact and causing splashes to nearby enemies.
Elephant Oil: Enlarges bullets by + 200 % in scale and adds + 2 projectiles per shot, making them more impactful. This increases the spread and size of bullets, but it also reduces the damage and slows the movement by -25 % and by -50 %.
Pool Oil significantly slows down your speed while allowing the Drifter 9 to bounce bullets off of surfaces. With a tactical edge, this ricochet effect gives you a chance to hit targets in cover or around corners, giving you a more accurate shot.
Shredder Oil: Adds + 1 projectile per shot and increases spread, making the weapon even more chaotic. However, it reduces damage by -20 % and prevents the harvesting of organs from fallen enemies.
The Drifter 9 is an explosive powerhouse with ricochet capabilities and a chaotic spread thanks to all of these adjustments, making it ideal for players who enjoy a varied and disruptive combat style.
