Carnage to “wreck” havoc on PC and Xbox Live

What do you get when you mix street racing, gang culture, demolition derby, and gallons of gasoline and testosterone? You get the massively multiplayer vehicle combat game called Carnage.

In Carnage, street racers and perennial driver’s ed flunkies create an illegal form of entertainment where entire city areas are sectioned off to run a racing event. The rules are simple: drive, entertain the crowds, destroy the opposition, and win. The new xxx-treme sport becomes a huge hit and a virtual industry for crime lords.

Carnage is not only making blood-and-gasoline sports acceptable. It makes heroes, millionaires and celebrities out of drivers, at least those that don’t get crushed into paste inside crumpled metal. Fans adore them. Authorities, however, consider them outlaws destined for a life sentence in prison. Eventually, authorities give in to the pressure and legalize Carnage as a global sporting event.

Developed by Nice Tech Ltd, the Hugely Multiplayer Online action Hugely Multiplayer Online will be released on PC Q1 2007 and on Xbox Live at a yet undetermined date.
