Carnival Games for the Wii?

This is probably another “minigame” alert than a rumor report. It appears that GameFly just listed a game by diet publisher Global Star Software that could potentially sport typical midway frolics at your local carnival. Entitled “Carnival Games,” it’s a sure bet that the game would be easy to develop, even if this game was just rumored to be coming out for the Wii.

Global Star is probably well known for their renderings of other low-budget titles like Family Feud and Hidden & Dangerous Deluxe. H&D however, has begun to start its own cult following in the past few years and it’s probably safe to assume these devs are definitely stepping up their game.

Seeing as it’s Global Star’s “first night out” with Wii game development, we can’t blame them for starting out with a casual title. But because the Wii is reeling in a major slice of the casual gaming pie, it would be interesting to see what impact this game would have for the avid “minigamers” out there.

If one more minigame is just too much for you, you might want to give this a pass. We have just but one little question, though: what’s up with “Category: Action Adventure?”
