Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter minis comes out next month on PSP, PS3

Beatshapers’ Carnivore: Dinosaur Hunter will let you do that starting early August when the Minis version comes out on PSP and PS3. You’ll get to choose from six weapons including a sniper rifle and a crossbow to track down and hunt fifteen different dinos over five levels. Novices start out chasing herbivores while the experts can try their hand against the carnivores.

 

Carnivore is also more of a sim than an arcade shooter, since apparently you’ll need to consider factors like wind direction and scent to make sure you take down your target and don’t just turn it into your cause of death. There’s also a special dino call to help players track and bait dinos, although what that sounds like I have no idea.
