Castlevania: SOTN on XBL – the “Slorga/Gaibon” trailer
Konami‘s Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (SOTN) wasn’t released with a lot of fanfare, but its reputation spread. The game still continues to have a big following among players and video game sites alike (it often ends up in Top 10 or Top 100 lists, for example).
The game will be available on Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) starting March 21, 2007 for 800 Microsoft Points (that’s about US$ 10.00). That’s a good price for a good game that pushed the 2D platformer genre to its limits.
The XBLA version has some added bonuses:
- Play the original version of the game or experience it in enhanced mode with improved graphics and modernized audio and sound effects
- New native widescreen and high-definition support
- Earn up to 12 Achievements and 200 Gamerscore points
