Celebrity Miis on Japanese Wiis
Two Japanese comedians are making an appearance on the Wii – or at least their Miified selves. This is part of another exclusive Japanese promotion from Nintendo Japan. There are no reports that this will also be done elsewhere. (*insert collective moans here*)
Shuzo Matsuoka (formerly a pro tennis player) and Sanma Akashiya have been a part of Nintendo Japan’s Wii ad campaign for some time, and now their Miis are going to be sent to Wiis all over Japan. They have also been in various commercials where they show how to make a Mii. Their Miis will be sent out automatically to those Wiis set up to the Wii Connect 24 and will be available until March 29. They are sort of limited, as they will disappear if you send them to another player.
Hmm… That would make Mii parades more interesting, wouldn’t it? Too bad the promotion’s exclusive. We’d love a Miified Angelina Jolie or Brandon Routh.
