China Warrior and Mega Man to hit Europe VC this week

China Warrior and Mega Man to be hitting the Europe VC - Image 1If you’re from Europe and like robots or kung-fu, then this is a great week to go have a look at Wii’s Virtual Console. Why? Because it was recently announced that Mega Man and China Warrior will be released this week.

For those who didn’t own a NES or has never never played the side-scroller Mega Man, it was first released in 1989 for the said console and was one of the first games to feature a stage selection from the get-go.

Players, however, will need to tackle the stages in the proper order if they want to get far in the game. So it’s not going to be a walk in the park. The final enemy in the game is Doctor Wily who created all the enemy robots and who wants to rule the world.

If you’re planning to pick this one up (which any self-respecting Mega Man fanboy would probably do), be informed that the game is available for 500 Wii Points.

China Warrior, moving on, was received by the community with open arms for its then ground breaking graphics. This title was released on TurboGrafx the same year Mega Man came out on Nintendo Entertainment System.

The game has four stages with each having three areas. Players fight a staggering amount of enemies in the hope of gaining recognition as the ultimate warrior. China Warrior is available for download this week for a reasonable 600 Wii Points.
