ChinaGBA dissects Wii’s Nunchuck attachment

Ever wanted to know what makes your controller work? Well, if you do, then you’re not alone as the friendly people over at ChinaGBA are curious, too. They decided to turn their attention to Wii’s Nunchuck attachment.

Literally stripping down the Nunchuck attachment to the bare essentials, ChinaGBA had the Nunchuck butchered and taken apart all the way to its innards. One interesting thing is that they have finally confirmed the rumor whether the attachment uses a USB connector or not, and everyone can see for themselves what it connects to, exactly, all thanks to the close-up photos that they took.

As for why they have the said attachment this early and whether they were able to put it back together afterwards, we can’t really tell since the original site is in Chinese. We are however, really hoping that the Nunchuck was put back together safe and sound after the photo session.
