Chocobo's Msyterious Dungeon dated and priced in Japan - Image 1The online site of Japanese magazine Famitsu is reporting that upcoming video game Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon: Labyrinth of Forgotten Time has finally been dated and priced in Japan. It will reportedly be released on December 13 with a price tag of 6,800 Yen and that’s around US$ 59.

Chocobo‘s Mysterious Dungeon is an all new entry in the dungeon-exploring series of titles that feature Final Fantasy characters like the Chocobo. This particular game will let players control the golden bird and Cid as they enter the City of Forgotten Time.

Its inhabitants have some problems in remembering their past and it is the players’ objective to help them remember. There will be two types of randomly generated dungeons that will be available in the title. The first one is similar to traditional dungeons with boss fights in the end.

The other type requires players to retrieve memories for the people of the said city. Controls will rely on the Wiimote/Nunchuk combination. Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon: Labyrinth of Forgotten Time is expected to be released in other markets outside Japan but Square Enix has yet to make a formal announcement.
