Choose fun: the Everybody Votes channel
It looks completely worthless, and yet it’s strangely compelling to see what would happen. There’s now a forum for democracy on the Wii as a new Wii Channel is unveiled: Everybody Votes!
The Everybody Votes channel is simple yet, like everything Wii-related, apparently addictive. After downloading it for free (YAY!), the Wii will read your location and ask to register a specific Mii to represent you on Everybody Votes. Afterwards, you can start voting on such pressing topics as, “Which century would you prefer to live in?”
Yeah, it seems rather useless, but it may have future uses that will benefit Wii owners. Personally, we’d love to see it as an alternative place to earn Wii points. Even if it’s just a point per majority vote, it’d be a fun way to get more people hooked AND a new option for making virtual currency. Enjoy!
