CID the Dummy crash tests its way to the PC, PSP, Wii, and DS
Developer Twelve Interactive is set to deliver a new off-beat action platformer for the PS2, PSP, Wii, and DS with CID the Dummy. The game puts you in control of – get this – a crash test dummy as you save mankind from the hands of a megalomaniacal professor bent on ruling the world. Sounds familiar? Well, while you’re trying to remember why not take a look at the game’s details and screenshots in the full article.
As action platformers go, there’s a lot out there to distract the average gamer. Developer Twelve Interactive throws another title to the genre’s list with CID the Dummy for PC, PS2, PSP, Wii, and DS.
This new action platformer is set in an alternate future where people’s laid back lifestyles have grown to an such extent where even lowly Crash Impact Dummies can rise to a position of importance due to their resilience to the endless barrage of safety tests they are usually employed for.
When an evil professor (there always is one) suddenly kidnaps an experimental Crash Impact Dummy, Professor B.M. Werken turns to one of his trusty Crash Impact Dummies (CID) and entrusts him with the mission to save his creation and save the world.
And what’s a game with a crash test dummy without a special Crash Test bonus stage inserted into the game. This little extra bonus can be found in the PS2 and PSP version where you can drive a super-modded vintage Italian car through a wall and try to get your dummy through the ordeal.
CID the Dummy will be published under Oxygen Int. and is slated to be released by the second quarter of this year. You can take a look at the various differences across the game’s different cross platform visuals through the screenshots we’ve collected below.
