Circuit City selling Oblivion (PS3) pre-orders for US$ 50
Price-conscious fans waiting for Bethesda‘s The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion RPG for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) may want to take heed of this possible bargain alert we picked up by way of Circuit City. The online retail store has posted that instead of the expected US$ 59.99 being slapped on the game, they will be selling Oblivion for only US$ 49.99 – a full ten bucks lower. The only catch foreseen with the deal is a release delay of two days – Circuit City currently dates Oblivion for March 22.
Future owners of Oblivion for the PS3 can expect high-definition visuals to greet them come the game’s March 20 launch, along with the Knights of the Nine content previously announced by Bethesda’s VP of marketing Peter Hines. Downloadable content for Oblivion’s PS3 version (along with The Shivering Isles) will also be available, although at a later date than its Xbox 360 and PC kin.
