City of Heroes and City of Villains Breakthrough GDC trailer
At the GDC show floor, NCSoft showcased the video for Issue 9 of twin MMOs City of Heroes and City of Villains. We reported on the latest issue called Breakthrough last January, but it’s still better to see it applied, don’t you think?
Anyway, the GDC Breakthrough trailer runs through the new content that would arrive as soon as the Issue 9 goes live. The Invention System, which lets you create your own costume pieces, get temporary powers and superior enhancements, and the Stateman’s Taskforce, where Heroes can join forces – a la Justice League – to go into major PvE action, were showcased in the video.
The expansion’s release for City of Heroes and City of Villains is yet to be announced, so for the meantime you can check out the video.
