City of Heroes (and Villains) celebrates Xmas
Because villainy never takes a vacation, and neither does heroism in Paragon City, an entire City of Heroes and Villains will celebrate the season with some goodies from Cryptic Studios/NCSoft. Just like they celebrated Halloween, though we’re still counting how many “treats” the villains liberated from certain banks across town.
By logging on and visiting Paragon – or the Rogue Isles – between December 14 and January 2 of next year, heroes and villains both will receive the Cold Front Badge and a fuzzy earmuffs costume piece. Players will also receive two special powers:
- The Holiday Spirit Temporary Power: 24 hours of Debt Protection (Scrooge takes a vacation, too); and
- Holiday Cheer Temporary Power: target another player, use Holiday Cheer, other guy gets a random goodie gift, from Temporary Power/s to Influence/Infamy, “or maybe even a very recognizable hat.”
So you better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, ’cause we’ll tell you why: Santa Claus will kick your a – er, is coming to town.
