City of Heroes: super wedding, spring fling and in-game wedding pack

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, NCsoft is celebrating this romantic season in the MMORPG City of Heroes by announcing three upcoming events: the super powered wedding by Manticore and Sister Psyche, the Spring Fling and the exclusive wedding pack. Details in full article.

It’s certainly that time of the year when people just instantly turn into their mushy selves because of Valentine’s Day. As for NCsoft‘s City of Heroes, they’re also taking part in this event by announcing three new events for their MMORPG: Manticore and Sister Psyche’s wedding, the Spring Fling, and the exclusive wedding pack.

To start things off with a bang, Manticore and Sister Psyche will be celebrating their love for one another with a wedding. It will be held in the Training Room at 3:00 p.m (6:00 p.m.) on February 14, 2008. The event will only be able to accommodate 100 participants only. There will be a draw to determine who will be attending  this ceremony.

Ganymede, meanwhile, is Emissary of the God Eros. He will be allowing players to participate in quests that will eventually enable him to harness the power of love. Heroes will be sent on a special wedding gift reconnaissance mission, while villains will be enlisted by Arachnos to do his dirty work.The event will start on February 14, 2008 and will end on February 28.

For only US$ 9.99, players can get their hands on this special pack. It will be featuring a serial code for account upgrade and access to special in-game items such as two new formal wedding costumes and four celebratory emotes.This will certainly enable players to truly celebrate Valentine’s Day with their loved ones in true gaming style.
