Classic Arcade Game Asteroids for PSP

screen

Asteroids was one of the most popular and influential games during the Golden Age of Arcade Games (around late 70s, early 80s). The Atari-released arcade had players controlling a ship looming around the screen with four large asteroids. The point of the game is to break down these asteroids into small pieces. If you’re feeling a surge of nostalgia or if you’re feeling quite curious about the game, here’s a chance to relive the classic game.

elad_thc has just released a clone of the 1979-released arcade game. Bearing the same gameplay as the original Asteroids, this PSP ‘brew bears just a few changes (mostly with the graphics and the scoring system). If you do decide to give this elad_thc creation a space in your memstick (I personally think it was worth the 380-something KB it took up), you might have to use PSPBrew to convert the made-for-fw1.0 Eboot to suit your fw1.5s.

Enjoy!
