Code Lyoko – screenshots galore
We’ve heard very little regarding a Game Factory game called Code Lyoko. So little that it was only included in an announcement that included four other cartoon titles on handhelds. Today, we’ve got some new screenshots of the title and a bit of info regarding this upcoming title.
Code Lyoko is based on a French animated series that features CGI and animation currently produced by MoonScoop. The story centers on five boarding school students, Aelita, Ulrich, Yumi, Odd, and Jeremie. They are enrolled at Kadic Junior High School and were ordinary (okay, not so ordinary) students until they discover a supercomputer hidden in a basement of an abandoned factory near their school. Along with that discovery, they uncovered the virtual world Lyoko and Xana’s – the villain – evil plans for world domination.
Anyway, Code Lyoko will reportedly feature RPG and adventure elements with 15 quests and 15 levels, and four of the students as playable characters (Jeremie will probably be like Kim Possible‘s computer geek Wade). There haven’t been any announcements regarding release, so until then, you can check out these screens.
The rest of the screens right after the jump!
