Codemasters hosts RF Online Shirow armor promo

It would appear that Codemasters is really promoting the Connect 08 special event. One way of doing this is through the Rising Force Online level 50 Shirow armor promo. Curious? The promo mechanics await after the jump, as do visuals of the armor sets themselves.

If you’re an Rising Force Online player who’s planning to participate in the Connect 2008 event, then Codemasters is offering you a chance to have your cake and eat it, too. It’s simple, really: purchase a ticket to the Connect event and Codemasters will give you a level 50 Shirow armor set for one RF Online character of your choice.

If the name “Shirow” sounds familiar to you, then you’re probably familiar with the renowned manga artist’s work on Ghost In the Shell, Appleseed and other titles. The pictures that you see here are his handiwork.

Be warned, though: tickets are only available in limited stock, so Codemasters is encouraging RF Online players to purchase their tickets at the soonest possible time. Full details as to how winners may claim their armor sets will be revealed during the Connect event, and on the Codemasters website after the event.
