Codemasters to present MMO lineup at world’s largest outdoor gaming event
Codemasters‘ online division today announced that while sponsoring the 6th iteration of Camp Zone, the world’s biggest outdoor LAN party, the company will also be taking the opportunity to present some of it’s newest MMO titles.
One is ArchLord, a Korea-developed RPG offering players to “become the game world’s supreme ruler”. Another main attraction will be Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. Based on Tolkien’s legendary writing and developed by renowned MMO studio Turbine, the title will mark the first time LotR fans can live and fight as Middle-Earth residents together in a persistent online world.
In addition to the presentations of new games, Codemasters are going to show new content and services for Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach and RF Online.
About 1800 gamers showed up for Camp Zone last year, and even more are expected this time – a suitably big audience for Codemasters, who have been sponsoring the event for the last three years. It is held in Biddinghuizen in the Netherlands, on fields encompassing an area of roughly 9 soccer fields.
