Comfort companies Balenciaga and Rimowa release Apple Vision Pro software.

Balenciaga app showcases its latest fashion collection
Balenciaga, France and Rimowa, Germany have launched their first apps for the Apple Vision Pro. The apps bring high-end fashion and luggage to the Apple Vision Pro. Apple Vision Pro owners are likely to have a lot of money, and they’re not the only ones who want to take advantage of that. Caviar offered the entire Apple Vision Pro headset as a limited edition gold for $40,000. This is a lot more than Gucci, but it’s still a lot. Balenciaga, a French fashion house, and Rimowa, a German luxury luggage manufacturer have both launched what appears to be their first public apps. Rimowa had an iPhone app to train staff, but other than that, neither of these companies has appeared in the App Store until now. Apple Vision Pro is the only platform that these apps are available on. Both companies use the features of the headset in different ways. MacRumors was the first to notice that Rimowa is displaying its suitcases in 3D. The suitcases can have their colors changed, accessories added, or they can appear as if the user is actually holding them. The Rimowa app says, “Discover new ways to explore the Maison’s iconic collections. Each is made with the highest quality of craftsmanship and innovation.” Immerse yourself in the intricate details of their collections to find your perfect travel companion and elevate your journeys to a new level. Balenciaga has chosen to create a more performance-based experience. Apple Vision Pro, the company’s app, is reportedly only the beginning of the company’s offering. It shows off the latest Spring/Summer fashion show. The description of the Balenciaga App says: “Revisit Spring 25 with stereoscopic video and an interactive lookbook… watch Balenciaga’s previous iconic shows from a new perspective.” Listen to Balenciaga Music playlists created by Demna. These playlists feature artists and groups who provide insight into their musical worlds and personal references. Gucci also launched an Apple Vision Pro App that showcased its Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Balenciaga’s and Rimowa’s apps are both free. But nothing else is cheap. Balenciaga sells men’s teeshirts starting at $550 and most are around $1,000. A small Rimowa bag costs $1,650.
