Take-Two has laid out some target release windows for a few of their upcoming games, turning the fourth quarter of the year into a possibly quite lucrative time for the company.
The company’s fourth quarter lineup includes such titles as LA Noire, Mafia II, Max Payne 3 and Sid Meier’s Civilization V. One of these games, however, could get pushed further back. According to Take-Two, its 2010 financial guidance “reflects the potential movement of one of these titles into fiscal 2011”. That 12-month period begins November 1, 2010.
L.A. Noire had previously been reported as tracking a September release. Mafia II used to have a Q3 2010 release window. Max Payne 3 was pushed back to late 2010 late last year. First promotional images of the recently announced Civilization V mention a Fall 2010 release.
