Coming soon to the App Store: Duke Nukem 3D
One Duke Nukem game that’s NOT taking forever is the port of the 1996 PC game to the iPhone. Unlike its award-winning counterpart (for being vapoware), Duke Nukem Forever, Duke Nukem 3D is well on its way to the App Store. IGN got its hands on the first screenshot so let’s have a look at it.

While the tap-to-shoot control system may be of some concern for this FPS, it does add some flavor of its own into the gameplay, so it’s not as bad as one would think. Duke Nukem 3D still features all the elements that we’ve all come to love the Duke about – his stripper-saving, his thug-smoking, and his immortal one-lining.
There is no release date just yet, but IGN reports that Duke Nukem 3D will be up on the App Store “very soon.”
