In order to correct issues with multiplayer matching freezes and random disconnections, Electronic Arts released the v1.03 patch for minor bug fixes. The patch for UK‘s top game for all game platforms only corrects these online issues related to the online lobby. As the patch notes for v1.03 state:

  • Fixed an error that caused players to experience unexpected disconnections and freezes while in online lobbies and Automatch search.
  • Fixed an error that prevented players in online lobbies from chatting globally after sending private messages to other players.

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars already has gone through 3 minor patches (.01 increments) since it’s release on March 28, 2007, including a release date patch correcting issues with certain game exploits, game balancing and several bug fixes. Hopefully this will be the last of the online issues that players will experience, after attempting to correct one such other in the v1.02 patch. Of course, the patch fixes only apply to the PC version, and not the Xbox 360 version.
