Common senses overturned: echochrome official Japanese site goes live
“A world where your common sense is overturned: echochrome.” This is the tagline used in the official Japanese website for the black-and-white puzzler from SCEJ. Well, sure enough, for a game that patterns itself from an M.C. Escher-esque environment, common senses being overturned might be a bit of an understatement.
Yes, the graphics are a bit on Zen side of the spectrum, but there’s still a different kind of appeal to it. Much like how its website works. While the Japanese text is causing our minds to do some linguistic overturning, clicking around the echochrome will get you places. Once you’re in the main portion of the Flash site, you can view some screenshots of the block puzzles and a video by clicking on either of the two buttons on the lower-left corner.
echochrome will be available for download on the PlayStation Network and also for the PSP.
