After a full year, we finally got a confirmation to the rumor that Turn 10‘s Xbox 360 racer, Forza Motosport 3, will be indeed be shipping on two discs. John Wendl, content director of the game, gave his affirmative statement to this issue himself.
If you’ll remember last year, rumor came out that the game will be needing two discs because of the vast amount of content expected to be in the game. Try 400-cars-100-tracks-and-near-limitless-car-customization-options-vast.
“It is going to ship on two discs,” said Wendl. According to him, Disc one “is the full experience, even disc one is bigger than any other racing game other there.” Meanwhile Disc two will include “a lot of extra cars, even a handful of tracks.”
Oh, okay, so Disc 2 will function more as your “spare tire”, if you will. To describe it more succinctly, it will be acting as a data transfer, downloading the additional content to the hard drive so you can add it on to the first disc.
As for the promised 400 cars: every single one of them is definitely playable.
