Confirmed: Wii Music to hit Japan in October

Well, the rumors about Wii Music‘s Japanese release date weren’t just “purely rumor and speculation” after all. The Famitsu website has just confirmed that the game will indeed be hitting Japanese store shelves in October. Price tag has been set at Â¥5,800 (around US$ 54).
In case you haven’t heard of it yet, Wii Music will feature over 50 songs and a whopping 60 musical instruments. Players use the Wiimote and Nunchuk to control a six-member band. The Wii Balance Board is also supported as a peripheral for the game’s drum set.
