Such was the quality of his work that Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans messaged him personally via PSN. Understandably skeptical over the request, Evans’ initial attempt was simply deleted. How many gamers get personally contacted by developers, anyway?
Eventually, Evans got through to him and invited him to come to Media Molecule. “He showed up at our door holding a PS3,” Evans shared.
Now, you can see this ex-bricklayer’s work in LittleBigPlanet 2. It’s a boss level inspired by Rez, a rail shooter released for the Dreamcast and the PS2.
