Contact for the Nintendo DS – Online Enabled

Grasshopper Manufacterers, of Killer 7 fame, have updated their Japanese website for the new DS RPG, Contact. Sporting a Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection logo confirms that it will now officially be part of the service. Specific online features are unknown at this time.
In addition to that, when receiving a question about whether Contact would come to the US, Grasshopper replied with “There is question with the European-American versions.”
For those not in the know, basically, Contact tells the story of a professor in possession of peculiar items called “elements.” After crash landing his space ship on a strange planet, the professor’s “elements” end up scattered all over the place. He enlists the help of a local boy named “Cherry” to help him retrieve the items so he can ultimately leave the planet.
Along with a potential PAL release, this is one of the first RPGs for the DS announced officially to go online – great news for DS owners everywhere.
