Cool PSP-3000 stop-motion animation vid: unboxed and stripped naked

PSP-3000 - Image 1Looks like someone’s had some stop-motion animation lessons from Tim Burton or something. Here’s a video showing the PSP-3000 being unboxed, taken apart, and gutted for the sheer joy (and maybe torture, for some) of seeing what makes the new PSP tick. As a stop-motion video, it’s entertaining to watch (ooooh, look at that Ratchet & Clank UMD magically crawling out of the disc tray by itself!). As a PSP-3000 dismantling video for modders and the like, it’s a treasure trove of details.

You’ll soon notice that some comment bubbles will pop out occasionally, each one labeling every nook and cranny of the device: the UMD optical drive, earphone port, RF shield, Wi-Fi antenna, etc.

If you wanted a bible on the PSP-3000’s hardware components without the techy mumbo jumbo, this is it. Enjoy!
