Core Group to bring Wii to South Africa

Wii - Image 1A good ten months after Nintendo‘s little white bundle of magic, Wii, debuted in Japan, North America, Europe, and Australia, it is finally making its way to South Africa. Local distributer Core Group will be the new Santa that brings the Nintendo goodies after former distributor Futronics ended its dealership rights early this year. Futronics ending its stint was the primary reason why it took this long for the Wii to set sail for South Africa.

For now, details are yet to be confirmed but a spokesperson from Core Group stated that they are hoping for an October release. Pricing has also yet to be confirmed, but it appears like it will be tagged at R2,700 (around US$ 371) to R2,800 (around US$ 385).
