Cover for NBA Street named already
Back in 1992, there was boy from Baltimore who dreamed of becoming a star. Cancer took his father away when he was just a baby. Without a father figure to look up to, he turned to his brothers and sisters for support and love. As he grew up, he became fond of basketball. He would play day and night in one of those courts found in the streets, with rusty rings and torn nets.
While in high school, the boy slowly made a name for himself. ‘Twas the summer of 2001 when he became Baltimore Sun’s metro player of the year, as well as Baltimore catholic league player of the year. He then made it to the high school All American team. The boy’s college basketball career was rather short as he just appeared for one season in Syracuse University. Finally in 2003, his dreams became realized. He joined the NBA draft and was selected 3rd overall.
Currently, the boy plays forward for the Denver Nuggets and is the cover of Electronic Arts NBA Street Homecourt. The game will appear both on Xbox 360 and the PS3. The boy is Carmelo Anthony.
