CrimeCraft announced for PS3, Xbox360, and PC
The ushering in of a new year sure brings a lot of good news in the gaming industry. In addition to price drops and tons of newly released game goodies, January is also the perfect time for game developers and publishers to announce new games for our beloved consoles.
Take Vogster Entertainment, for example. They have just announced that they’re developing this new MMO game for the PS3, Xbox360, and PC, called CrimeCraft. Set in a modern world, players will be able to participate in the socio-political and economical life of a big city called Megapolis. They’ll run businesses, engage in trade and commerce, bribe off police authorities, and of course, encounter criminals and outlaws in society. The game details remain scarce, but we were able to get the following information on some of the game features:
- ownership of real-estate and cars
- possibility to run shops, warehouses, banks, productions
- fight over territories and clan wars
- combat system unique for MMO
- developed social system. Possibility to solve conflicts without a single shot
- possibility to choose law-obeying, criminal or financial professions and changing of those throughout the game
CrimeCraft will reportedly be powered by Unreal Engine 3 and so far, there’s no release window yet so stay tuned for that. Meanwhile, check out these bits of concept art we were able to score so that you’ll have, at the very least, a visual idea of the game. Enjoy!
