Crisis Core Limited Edition PSPs preorders closed: even Tetsuya Nomura doesn’t have one
Ah, the ongoing Final Fantasy VII mania. Fans of the widely-acclaimed franchise quickly snapped up the pre-orders for the 77,777 Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Limited Edition PSP Slims and as it turns out, even Final Fantasy character designer Tetsuya Nomura wasn’t able to reserve his own unit.
Nomura tried to get his own Crisis Core Limited Edition bundle at Square Enix‘s e-Store, but wasn’t able to get himself a pre-order. It may be possible that he himself has to line up once the unit gets launched in stores, which goes to show that being the big boss doesn’t always mean getting all the big perks as well.
In other related Crisis Core news, check out the cover of the latest Gemaga cover featuring Zack Fair, the game’s main protagonist. He’s looking quite good in black, if we do say so ourselves. The Crisis Core-themed magazine cover is apparently just part of the current media blitz surrounding Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII‘s imminent release.
The hype really does serve its purpose, however, and the sold-out limited edition PSP units is just a hint of its grand success even before the game is launched.
More updates as they come!
