Cross-server BG groups named
Without much of a warning, Blizzard Entertainment suddenly upped and named Battlegrounds groups for the North American and Oceanic World of Warcraft realms. After a thorough look at the game’s official site, we noticed that all servers are still in the same groups and nothing really was changed.
The 11 names are the follwing: Bloodlust, Cyclone, Nightfall, Rampage, Reckoning, Ruin, Shadowburn, Stormstrike, Vengeance, Vindication, and Whirlwind. It’s noteworthy that three of these are in fact, taken from Warlock abilities and there are actually none from the Druid. Furthermore, some are speculating that the names were given because of th upcoming Arena PVP patch. Logically, this would make it easier to know which group belongs to what server.
Again, as of the moment, the names are just names. They don’t affect the game save – maybe – for strengthening a player’s identity.
