Crysis demo dated this September

Crytek may be threatening to leave Germany but Crysis is still on track for its release, and the demo will be available on September 25.

Contact, the very first level of the game, will be playable in the demo. That’s the entire first level of Crysis. Crytek also promises that the demo will have “a huge surprise.” The nanosuit flies? Probably not. In any case, it’ll be fun times to put the suit through its paces.

One thing about the nanosuit though: it provides regeneration, so the game doesn’t have any health power ups at all so you have to wait to regenerate instead of hunting down the rascally power ups. A fair trade considering it gives you speed, strength, armor (of course), and an invisibility mode.
