Crysis developer walkthrough videos from E3

We’ve just found something that will make our PCs curl up and die. It’s Crytek‘s upcoming video game, Crysis. The way they showed off the video game at the last E3 Media and Business Summit literally made this writer look up how much new video cards cost.

This time, it’s not all about spraying bullets everywhere. The videos are actually developer walkthroughs featuring the finer side of Crysis‘ development. We see chicken (check out how it realistically bobs its head when picked up), crab, schools of fish, tropical birds, and the photo-realistic environments (Kodak moments).

On the second video, we see the wonderful AI in the game – enemies running for cover and stuff. The dev added that the AI will react to the changes in the environment. The third video basically showcases just how many ways you can approach a certain mission and kick enemy behinds: snipe, shoot up close, throw things, or just use the nano suit’s power to beat the crap out of them.

Anyway, before we spoil everything for you guys, we’ll leave you to watch the videos. By the way, Crysis is still stamped with a to be announced release date so you better stay tuned for updates about that. Enjoy!
