Crysis, Half-Life 2, Fear, and Prey Off to PS3?
It seems like more and more games are going to be available for the PS3. Although we can’t rule anything as official, a PSM cover (left thumbprint) shows that maybe, just maybe, shooter games such as Half-Life 2, Crysis, Fear and Prey are going to find a way to the PS3.
Half-Life 2 is a first-person shooter game that follows the travails of Gordon Freeman and the events that happen around him in the fictional City 17. Crysis is an upcoming sci-fi shooter, set in 2015, the game focuses on Jake Dunn- a Delta Force soldier, who was sent in to investigate an unidentified object’s crash in the disputed Spratly Island in the South China Sea. Fear‘s plot revolves on the “aftermath” factor of the System Shock fame. Lastly, Prey is about a Cherokee Garage mechanic, Tommy and his awakened powers from his long-forgotten birthright.
Unfortunately, just like any other garden-variety rumor, this has no official backing of any sort. Besides, no one should take this tidbit seriously since recent PSM reports about PS3 have been in hot water lately – such as the Forbes Magazine mess. So, let us just wait for an official word about this and let us hope that there is a tinge of truth to all this.
