Custom Firmware 3.95 GEN released
It seems like the developers team behind Custom Firmware 3.95 GEN finally made good on their promise to deliver the latest PlayStation Portable CFW to the public. As previously mentioned, CFW 3.95 GEN will be fully compatible with the PSP Fat models, as well as have added functionality with other PSP homebrew tools.
The clock has finally struck midnight and developers behind the much awaited custom firmware 3.95 GEN have finally delivered on their promise to make this latest CFW available to the public.
As previously mentioned, CFW 3.95 GEN will be fully compatible with the PSP Fat models. Also, the VSHMENU from Popsloader, most of the functions of IRShell, and the CXMB were tested on the new CFW with limited success.
Here’s the breakdown of CFW 3.95 GEN’s changelog:
- General
- Kernel updated to 3.95 (new nids, patches etc.)
- Recovery
- Option added in recovery to choose between VSHMenu and in-XMB recovery.
- Option added in recovery to choose between Sony, GEN and M33 network update modes
- XMB
- Access vshmenu/recovery with the SELECT button.
- Network Update icon can download directly from the GEN server (adjustable)
We remind the readers that you will need to have a PSP running on at least CFW 3.71 M33 to get 3.95 GEN working on your handheld.
