CWCheat 0.2.2 REV. B
PSP coder weltall has released a new build for the homebrew application, CWCheat, and it’s now on version 0.2.2 REV. B. Yes, more optimization, bug fixes, and additions get rolled out in this version. Check out the full article for more info and the changelog.

PlayStation Portable homebrew developer weltall has just released a new build for his pet project, CWCheat. It’s now on version 0.2.2 REV.B and it has a pretty lengthy changelog chock full of additions, bug fixes, and some tweaks.
In case you haven’t the slightest what CWCheat is, here’s a bit of a primer. CWCheat is a prx for DevHook that supports devhook compatible games run on firmware emulation (Think GameShark or Action Replay). It also includes shows other information like battery, devhook version, and memory stick space, among others.
For this version of CWCheat, weltall lists the following changes:
0.2.2 REV.B
- [ALL] fixed a bug in RemaPSP about buffernegative functions which returned invalid values being returned.
- [POPS] Now REMAPSP works perfectly in POPS
- [ALL] Various optimizations in the remaPSP initialization code which reduced the size of more than 200 bytes
- [ALL] Some optimizations in the memory edit/disasm functions which reduced the size of more than 32 bytes
- [ALL] Added a check aganist tries to open a non existant text file with the text reader
- [ALL] Various size optimizations in the cheat search functions which reduced the size of more than 232bytes
- [ALL] Now it’s possible to define a key combination to access directly the text reader from in-game. You can define the buttons by adding them to the “TEXTREAD BTN = ” entry in the configuration file.
- [ALL] Optimized the functions checking for key combinations. This reduced the size of more than 818bytes
