CyberPsyke diving into the cyber minds: Second Life survey

You may not know of CyberPsyke, but this small organization formed by Angelica Ortiz de Gortari is aimed at the analysis and discovery of “the psychological impact of media technologies.” Particularly aimed at the online gamer and Internet user, the organization strives to understand the interaction between human beings and new forms of media.

Now Ortiz has her eyes on the biggest phenomenon known to the MMO industry, best known as Second Life. They are conducting an off-game, off-site survey for players of the game, and was hoping that you Second Life…err…denizens could help them out.

Now the mechanics are relatively simple. Just hop on over to the survey section and click on “Complete the Survey” in order to start answering the questions. Answer to the best of your knowledge and as honestly as possible, and you will be receiving an in-game exclusive gift from Dnel DaSilva.

If you don’t know Dnel DaSilva, she’s only just one of the best jewelry crafters in Second Life. You’ll get the instructions on how to receive your gift once you complete the survey properly. The results of the survey will be posted in the near future, so you can get to see the analytical oversight of the study.
