Daedalus R12 update: Super Smash Brothers dynarec bug still under works
About two weeks ago, homebrew developer StrmnNrmn announced an update for the Daedalus R12 N64 emulator indicating that GoldenEye was running properly with dynarec. The coder further followed that up by stating more work was to be done on other the ROMS although Super Smash Brothers‘ dynarec bug was still problematic.
The most recent update at StrmnNrmn’s blog indicates that while he’s been trying to find the time to get these game bugs fixed, other tasks seem to be bogging his progress down:
I’m still in the middle of looking at fixing the various dynarec bugs which are keeping Super Smash Bros from working with Dynarec enabled. I’ve not made as much progress as I would have liked since the last post, as I’ve been very busy with work and various other commitments. Hopefully I should get a bit more time to work on R12 from the end of this week.
As StrmnNrmn states, this is just to let the guys know that he’s still alive and that R12 is still one of his itineraries. Stay posted in case more updates are announced.
