Dark age of Camelot scam

Could they get any more rediculous? A new Dark Abe of Camelot scam email has been making its rounds to DAoC subscribers. It is a pretty obvious scam, but we thought we would warn you anyway, just in case you get caught off guard. This is your basic email scam. The person sending the email poses as a customer service representitive, and tries to pry your account info out of you. Here is the email that has been going around:

 

Hello, this is GOA Europe technical support contacting you regarding an account theft. It has come to our knowledge that you are not the rightfull owner of this account, and we will shut it down for further investigation if you don’t prove us wrong. To prove yourself innocent, send an email back to [email protected] (Due to this is a one way email, and cannot take replies) Containing your email registered to the account and the answer on your secret question to it. We need this information to contact your email provider and see if there has been any inconvinience regarding your account.
